What do we offer?

Illawarra ITeC is currentley offering accredited courses in Hospitality from certificate II to Certificate III levels. We also food health safety courses including Basic Food Handler, Food Safety Supervisor and FSS recertification. See below for further details.

Certificate III in Hospitality

The Certificate III in Hospitality course touches on all aspects of working in such a diverse industry to provide a sound knowledge of industry operations including food and drink preparation, food safety and much more.

NSW Basic Food Handler

This short course is for people handling food in cafés, restaurants, canteens, hotels, supermarkets, fast food outlets, sandwich shops and catering  covering topics such as food hazards, contamination and more.

NSW Food Safety Supervisor

The Food Act 2003 (NSW) requires certain food businesses in the NSW hospitality and retail food service sector to have at least one trained Food Safety Supervisor (FSS). This course is for people who are or wish to be nominated as the FSS.
