Understanding Your Business Accounting

Would you like to understand the basics of your business financial management, taxation matters and the financing of your business?

Garry Pinch Chartered Accountant from Accounting Professionals is going to run through the basics of:

• Financial Terminology 101.

• Business Tax – the basics of GST, PAYG, Income Tax and CGT.

• Accounting Software selection, getting started and reporting.

• Pricing Products and services to make a profit.

• Financial Budgets and Targets – how to manage a sustainable business.

• Accounting for Accounts receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll processes and procedures.

• Sources of Capital to get started – grants, angel investors, bank loads and other sources.

• The secrets of the most successful businesses – what makes them different.

At this ITeC ABAI Program Workshop, you will be able to connect with other Indigenous businesspeople to explore business to business sales and build relationships. You will also be able to discover the path to entrepreneurship with Aboriginal Business Advisory Initiative (ABAI) Manager Richard Davis.
